Obituary For Paul Michael Hudson
May 2, 1943 - November 26, 2021


Paul Michael Hudson, 78 years old, of Eden, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, at UNC Healthcare Rockingham.

Paul was born on May 2,1943, in Cramerton, NC, to Geneva Gillespie Hudson and Paul Thornley Hudson.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dr. Dan Hudson.

Survivors include his wife, Earlene Walker Hudson; sister,Wanda Hudson Lambert (Tom); the  mother of his children, Julia Swayney Hudson; daughters, Julia Michelle Hudson, Jennifer Hudson Barnes (Steve), Heather Hudson Edwards (Peedie), Johanna Riddle Silber (Frank); grandchildren, Walker and Carsyn Barnes, Konner and Cooper Edwards, Hannah and Joseph Silber; grandpets, McGee and Winston Hudson, Finley and Skyler Barnes, Bella, Bryxlei, Bentley Edwards and Romeo Silber.  He is also survived by a niece and nephew, cousins and may other beloved family members and friends.

Before he retired, Paul was a sales representative in the dye and chemical industry.  Throughout his 50 plus years career, he worked for Ciba Geigy, Crompton and Knowles, Prescott Chemical, Marlin Company and Brenntag where he traveled and covered the southern United States.  He was a natural salesman and never met a stranger.  He was a chatterbox by heart.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling (such as a memorable trip with his brother Dan in Churchill, Canada to see polar bears), cruises, playing golf and attending the Masters.

There will be a graveside service held on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, at 2pm at Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Reidsville, NC.  Following the service, the family will greet friends.  The family requests for everyone to wear a mask (even outdoors).  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:  Baptist Children’s Homes of NC.  P.O.
