Samuel David Shough, age 77 of Climax, NC passed away on Friday December 3, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 8th, at 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ridgeview Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Shough was born January 8, 1944 in Madison to the late Richard Arthur Shough and Lula Lester Shough. He was retired from DISCCA Environmental Services as an electrician.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Moorefield Shough of the home; son, David Lee Shough and wife Amanda of Roxboro, NC; daughters, Davina Shough Vinson of Julian and Betina Gould and husband Thomas of Greensboro; grandsons, Gary David Vinson, Gregory Daniel Vinson, Keelan Shough, Kolton Shough and Kahne Shough; granddaughters, Victoria Leigh, Tiffany Rae, Courtney Cockerham (Ray), Kristin Kinney, Kayliegh and Katelyn Shough; numerous nieces and nephews.
