Obituary For Joyce Ann Mayes Wade February 21, 1943 - January 13, 2022 Joyce Ann Mayes Wade, 78, of Eden, NC, passed on Thursday, January 13th, 2022 at her home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 at 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Danview Cemetery.  A visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to the service on January 18th and other times at Kathy’s home, 172 Longwood Dr, Eden, NC 27288. Joyce was born February 21st, 1943, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Ralph D Mayes and Margaret Louise Jones Mayes. She was a member of Genesis Church in Eden. Joyce worked as a beautician for more than 50 years. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kathy Cox (Toby) of Eden; granddaughters, Tabitha Cox and Joanna Cox, both of Eden; great-granddaughter, Kelly Rae; cousins, Sabrina Chambers and Brandy Mullis. Joyce is also survived by many loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her daughter, Anna Jo Wade Lane.
