Obituary For Leroy Hand April 16, 1940 - January 23, 2022 Leroy Hand, 81, of Eden, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2022. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 27th, 2022, at 11am, at Stoneville Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4933 NC 770, Stoneville, NC 27048, with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery in Eden, NC. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, from 6-8pm, at Stoneville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Family will receive friends at other times at the residence, 1726 Harrington Highway, Eden, NC, 27288. Leroy was born April 16th, 1940, in Leaksville, NC, to the late Charlie Forest Hand and Lillie Mae Jefferson Hand. He was a member of Stoneville Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as a Deacon. Leroy worked as a fixer for Pillowtex, retiring after 43 years. He loved farming and taking care of his animals. Leroy loved his family and always put his family first. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Diane Ratliff Hand; daughters, Sheila Hand, Cindy Dixon and husband Dale; son, Bobby Hand and wife Kelly; grandchildren, Jordan Dixon and wife Macey, Payten Hand, Carsen Hand; great-granddaughter, Hattie Dixon; sister, Laura Massey; brother-in-law Tony Boulding. In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifton Hand and David Hand; sister, Martha Boulding, and mother-in-law, Pauline Wray Ratliff.
