Obituary For Karen Carter Watkins April 5, 1967 - May 1, 2022 Karen Carter Watkins, 55, of Stoneville, passed the morning of May 1, 2022 A funeral service will be held 2pm, Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, with visitation being held 1 hour prior, from 1-2pm. Service will be streamed on Facebook for those who are unable to attend. Karen was born April 5, 1967, in Eden, NC, to James “Cooker” Carter and the late Mickie Eastridge Carter. Karen was a loving wife for 36 years, a great mother and an awesome nanny. She enjoyed spending time with family, going to the mountains, and being at the beach. She is survived by her husband, David Watkins; son, Coley Watkins; daughter Katie Winchester and husband; grandchildren, Zoe Watkins, Kendall Watkins, Graison Watkins; father, Cooker Carter; sister, Ann Martin and husband; mother-in-law, Margaret Watkins.
