Obituary For Rodney Keith Odell September 7, 1939 - May 28, 2022 Rodney Keith Odell, 82, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Piney Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kernersville, NC. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:30 am at Fair Funeral Home, 432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC. Graveside services will be Thursday 11:00 am at Overlook Cemetery in Eden, NC.  Military Funeral Honors rendered by the Rockingham County Veterans Honor Guard.  Rodney was born September 7, 1939 to the late Nelson Lee Odell and Naomi Lawrence Odell in Leaksville, NC.  He served his country in the United States Navy, where he worked as an Aviation Machinist’s Mate (ADJ3).   Rodney is survived by his daughter, Candace M. Odell of Durham, NC; son, Ronney K. Odell of High Point, NC; a grandson, Tyler J. Odell;  a sister, Cathy O. Parrish of Chatham, VA.; a brother, Paul W. Odell of Eden, NC. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Nelson E. Odell, Powell L. Odell, Clyde S. Oldell, Jerry C. Odell; two sisters, Deborah L. Christman and Sandra D.
