Obituary For Janice Blackwell Griffin April 8, 1943 - July 20, 2022 Janice Blackwell Griffin, 79, of Eden passed Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Danview Cemetery in Eden. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 11-11:45am, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden. Janice was born April 8, 1943, in Leaksville, NC, to the late Paul Leonard and Pauline Hailey Blackwell. She was a member of Osborne Baptist Church in Eden. Janice was a member of the Loyal Order of the Women of the Moose for 21 years. She loved Braves baseball and the Carolina Tarheels. Janice enjoyed spending time at the beach. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Lorene Wood of Eden; brother, Rodger Blackwell (Pam) of Eden; numerous nieces and nephews.
