Obituary For Shawn Steven East July 30, 1973 - August 2, 2022 Shawn Steven East, 49, of Eden passed Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be held 5-7pm, Friday, August 5, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home in Eden, NC. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Shawn’s father, 2298 Price Rd, Eden, NC 27288. Shawn was born July 30, 1973 in Eden, NC, to Ronald East, Sr. and Peggy Turner Thacker. He was a graduate of Morehead High School. Shawn worked as a plumber for Morgan Mechanical in Eden for many years. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.
