Obituary For Polly Heffinger Anderson January 21, 1935 - September 15, 2022 Polly Heffinger Anderson, 87, of Eden passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at UNC Rockingham Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Eden. A graveside service will be held at 4pm Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Overlook Cemetery in Eden. For those unable to attend the service, Polly will lie-in-repose from Noon – 3pm Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the homeplace, 15020 NC Hwy 87N, Eden, NC 27288, on Sunday between Noon and 3pm. Polly was born January 21, 1935, in Spray, NC, to the late James Willie Heffinger and Sallie Betty King Heffinger. Polly worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Morehead Memorial Hospital for more than 30 years, until her retirement. She was a member of the Ridgeway Church of Christ. She loved her family, enjoyed spending time with them, and she loved watching Nascar. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Judy Joyce (Danny) of Madison, NC; grandchildren, Christie Joyce of Wilmington, NC, Justin Joyce (Courtney) of Garner, NC; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Poppy, Bella; son-in-law, Mell Fletcher of Bassett, VA; sister, Ann H. Wilson of Eden, NC; sister-in-law, Josephine Heffinger of Ridgeway, VA; beloved niece, Lisa Mabe (Thomas) of Eden, NC; also survived by other nieces and nephews.
