Obituary For Jerry Kallam Haizlip March 7, 1954 - November 15, 2022 Jerry Kallam Haizlip, 68, of Reidsville, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at his home. A graveside service will be held 11am Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church Cemetery, 261 Estes Rd, Ruffin NC 27326. Jerry was born March 7, 1954, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Floyd Haizlip and Ruby Kallam Joyce. He worked as a lumber mill operator for many years and owned and operated his own sawmill for custom sawing. Jerry was happiest sawing logs. He loved to be outdoors and gardening. Jerry loved being with his family. Jerry is survived by his children, Linda Martin (Bryan) of Eden, Daniel Dickens (Cyndi) of Eden, Lisa Craddock (Daniel) of Eden, Teresa Willard (Johnny) of Eden; long-term girlfriend, Shirley Mitchell and her son Eric Walker; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Haizlip of Eden, Charlie Haizlip (Wendy) of Ruffin, Billy Haizlip (Diane) of Reidsville; sisters, Connie Lovings (Pee Wee) of Reidsville, Patsy Evans (Daniel) of Ruffin. In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by brothers, Donnie Haizlip, Buck Haizlip; granddaughter, Beth Dickens; great-grandson, Anthony Dickens.
