Obituary For Gary Coy Moore March 17, 1950 - November 25, 2022 Gary Coy Moore, 72 of Madison, NC went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 25, 2022 at his home. Per wishes of Gary there will be no funeral services, the family will receive visitation from family and friends at the home located at 121 Dan River Road, Madison, NC  27025. An event will be held, Cruise In style, at the home on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 1pm. The family has requested that everyone please ride your old car, truck, or bike out for the day so they can be displayed in honor of Gary. Come and spend an afternoon sharing old stories and creating new ones. Gary was born in Eden, NC on March 17, 1950, the son of RC and Hazel Scott Moore, both deceased. Gary retired from Miller Brewing Co. and Dave’s Construction, both in Eden, NC.  He served as a member of the Eden Moose Lodge.  Gary had a love for street rods and hot rods.  He enjoyed going to rod runs, being with friends, and customizing anything made of metal. Gary is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gale Cayton Moore of the home, mother- in- law, Doris Cayton of the home, son’s Dennis Moore (Meredith) of Madison, NC and Dale Moore (Jennie) of Ridgeway, VA; grandchildren; Jessica Kennon (Craig) of Eden, NC and Ty Moore of Ruffin, NC, great grand-daughter, Hannah Kennon; step great grand-daughter Gracie Kennon and Nova Tucker; step great grandson Gage Kennon and special friend Steve Sherwood. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his sisters, Vicki Hillen and Joan Gilley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fair Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
