Obituary For Frankie White, Jr. May 10, 1958 - January 29, 2023 Franklin “Frankie” Delano White, Jr., 64, of Eden, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, at his home. A funeral service will be held 11am, Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Friday, February 3, 2023, at Fair Funeral Home. Frankie will lie-in-repose at Fair Funeral Home from 9am-5pm Friday, February 3, 2023, for those unable to attend the visitation or service. Frankie was born May 10, 1958, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Franklin Delano White, Sr. and Joyce Washburn White. He was a graduate of Morehead High School, class of ’76. Frankie was a member of Eden Baptist Church. Frankie served his community as a fireman for over 40 years, retiring from the City of Eden after more than 20 years of service. He was a member of the Eden Professional Firefighter’s Association. He also served as Chairman of the Board for the Draper Volunteer Fire Department. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Speedy White; sons, Franklin D. White, III (Jana), Christopher D. White (Lisa), Jonathan Michael White (Leslie); stepson, Ranskey Baker (Mya); six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Joseph T. White, Robert M. White; special friends, Gary Martin, Tim Biggs. Frankie is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Delano White, Sr. and Joyce Washburn White.
