Obituary For Rosie Virginia Sheckells Belcher October 17, 1937 - March 12, 2023 Rosie Virginia Sheckells Belcher, 85, of Eden, passed on March 12, 2023, at UNC Rockingham Health Care in Eden. A funeral service will be held 3pm Monday, March 20, 2023 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 2-3pm, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Rosie was born October 17, 1937, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Richard and Ellen Sheckells. She was a life-long member of Fieldcrest Road Church of God in Eden. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, William Belcher of the home; daughter, Paula Belcher Hodges (Tim) of Eden; sisters, Faye Jones of Beldon, Michigan, Suzie Hupp of Eden, Judy Orrell of Eden; brother, Melvin Sheckells (Lula) of Eden; grandchildren, Nicole Belcher of Eden, Zachary Belcher (Kimberly) of Eden, Curt Belcher (Brittany) of Eden; great-grandchildren, Orson, Abby, Benjamin. In addition to her parents, Rosie is preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Belcher Wheeler; sons, Pete Belcher, Wayne Belcher.
