Obituary For Anthony Grey Tolbert February 6, 1944 - June 5, 2023 Anthony Grey Tolbert, 79, of Stoneville passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, June 9, 2023 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ridge View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1-2pm, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at other times at the home, 100 Abernathy Dr, Stoneville. Anthony was born February 6, 1944 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Jack Tolbert and Annie Goode Tolbert. He worked for himself as a painter until his retirement. Anthony is survived by his daughter, Angela Tolbert Smalls (Jeffery); grandchildren, Kayla (Nathan) Steele of Danville, Judson (Kasey) Steele of Walnut Cove; great-grandchild, Marley Steele of Danville, VA; a nephew, Terry Booker; niece, Robin (Terry) Amos; nephew, Chip Booker (Tammy); special friend, Johnny Balser.
