Betty Rogers Joyce, 80, of Reidsville passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at UNC Healthcare Rockingham in Eden.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with visitation being held one hour prior to the service.

Betty was born August 31, 1942, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Floyd Rogers and Mabel Barnard Rogers. She was a devoted member of Draper Christian Church where she loved attending until illness prevented her going. Betty was a hairdresser by trade and also, briefly, owned “Matt’s Restaurant” on Kings Hwy in Eden for a few years. She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed vacationing at the beach and the mountains.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronnie Joyce; daughter, Vicky Carter (Charles); son, Matthew Joyce (Kim); grandchildren, Johnathan Carter (Lorraine) and Michele Stallings; great-grandchildren, Deanna Stallings, Holly Carter, Rebecca Stallings, Emily Stallings, Brooklyn Clifton, and Abe Carter; sister, Linda Harold; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her sister, Edith Grogan.
