Sean Clay McBride, age 44, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at UNC-Chapel Hill.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Sean and Brandy, 130 North High Street, Eden, on Saturday, October 16th from 2 to 4pm for family and friends.

Sean was born on March 8, 1977, in Seattle, Washington. He was an avid outdoorsman and a “jack of all trades”. Sean never met a stranger and loved his family.

Sean is survived by his wife, Brandy McBride of the home; his mother, Georgia Matthews (Len) of Ridgeway; sisters, Shannon McBride (Michael) of Eden, Lisa Stott (Noel) of Oregon; son, Cody McBride of Reidsville; stepsons, Will Beville and Matthew Beville (Autumn), both of Ruffin; great-nephew, Noah Matthew Clay; grandchildren, Jaxon and Willow McBride; sister-in-laws, Johnna Gauldin (Heath) of Reidsville, Jessica Saunders of Eden and furr babies, Vader and Yoda

Sean was predeceased in death by his father Donnie Clay McBride; his best friend, Mike Gilley; and his boss, Mr. George Gill.
