Patsy Gail Woods was a loving sister, aunt, great-aunt, Godmother, and friend. She left this world peacefully on October 19, 2021 at age 66.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, October 22nd, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with family receiving friends one hour prior to the service with burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery.

Patsy was born December 16th, 1954, to the late Daniel “Roundhead” Woods and Doris “Dee” Corum.

Patsy loved dancing, listening to music, spending time with her special fur baby Rosie, her friends, and family. To know Patsy was to love her and she definitely was one of a kind.

She is survived by her sisters, Debra W. McBride, Cathy “Pete” Hooker, and Susan L. Woods, all of Eden, her Godchildren, Coreeda “Corey” Edwards with daughter Arlaina, and Kayla McEntire (Zac), all of Georgia, 7 nieces, 1 “special” nephew, numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, and her faithful sidekick “Rosie”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Danny Woods and Larry “Wink” Woods, and her sister, Teresa Roland.

Please accept my condolences. I never got to meet Patsy but Kayla has told me about her & I have to say that I have missed out on meeting someone very special! Dear Woods family, Please know are hearts are saddened to hear about the news of Patsy's passing. I can't remember one time that I've seen her that she wasn't wearing the hugest smile ever. She had a way of making anyone feel special and loved. She has certainly brought a lot of laughter to our hearts throughout the years. We will truly miss her!!!!
