Joseph Benjamin Hankins II, age 55 of Eden passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be held at Charity Baptist Church on Saturday November 27 at 2 pm. Following the service a gathering of friends and family will meet at the Eden Moose Lodge.

Joseph was born April 14, 1966 in Rockingham County. He was a self employed mechanic and painter. Joseph liked working on motorcycle’s and restoring old cars and painting art. He was a member of the Eden Moose Lodge.

Surviving are wife Connie Bowes Hankins of the home; mother, Jane Hall Hankins of Eden; son, Justin Hankins; daughter, Heather Hankins Tuggle and husband Raine; grandson, Jordan Hankins; brother, Chad Hankins and wife Tara, all of Eden; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Clay Fulcher, Clint Cochran, Casey Griffin and Levi Cannon. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph B. Hankins.
