Ashelyn Nicole Lemons, 25, of Eden, NC, passed away on November 21st, 2021, at UNC Rockingham in Eden, NC.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 26th, 2021 at 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, NC, with burial to follow at Dan View Cemetery. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service.

Ashelyn was born on April 21st, 1996, in Guilford County, North Carolina to Steve Alexander Lemons, Jr, and Crystal Sunshine Turpin Lemons (now Strickland). 

In addition to her parents, Ashelyn is survived by her daughters, Hope Leigh Turpin, Rosealyn Caroline Turpin, Emberlyn Sunshine Turpin, and Ava Alexandra Turpin, all of Reidsville; brothers, Steven Alexander Lemons III of Reidsville, Trace Strickland of Reidsville; sisters, Stephanie Lemons of Reidsville, Sarah Lemons of Greensboro, Sagen Strickland of Reidsville; step-father, Marvin E Strickland, Jr, of Reidsville; grandparents, Kathy and Randy Green of Brown Summit, Reba Enriquez of Greensboro; great-grandmother, Joan Goad of Brown Summit; great aunt and uncle, Frances and Bruce Peters; great aunt, Dale Cassell; aunt and uncle, Melissa and Byron McKinney.

Ashelyn was full of life, full of spirit, and always happy, even when she wasn’t. She was determined. At the age of 8 months, she was frustrated at not being able to walk and got up and walked across the room. From that time on, nothing kept Ashelyn down.  Ashelyn had a heart of gold. She loved hard and was passionate about everything she did and people she met. Through her beautiful daughters, her spirit will live on with us forever.
