I am so sorry for your loss. I've known Cody ever since I was a kid, and I remember he helped me with a science project one time. He was always so nice to me, and I will definitely miss him.

My ❤️❤️ goes out to his his Family. One of the sweetest nicest man ever. I worked for him at Karastan Svc Center in billing Department. Best Boss ever. He will definitely be missed by us all. I would see him at the Eden Post Office every few years. He always looked the same. White shirt, slim necktie and dress pants. Prayers

Cody was my first supervisor when I we t to work at Karastan Service Center in 1975. He was much loved and respected by everyone! He told hilarious, though sonewhat corny, jokes and kept us in laughter much of the time. It was a joy going to work every day.

Deepest condolences to the family🙏

We, the parents of Rob Holmes, husband of Cody's  granddsughter Shella Holmes, offer condolences to the Nichols family.  Many years ago, we visited Virginia and Cody at their home in Ridgeway on our way to a wedding in North Carolina.  They were warn, welcoming, loving people who made us feel very much a part of their family.

Dear Family,
I am so very saddened to hear that Mr. Nichols has passed.  I was blessed to know, and to count Cody as my good friend, for all the many years I worked with him at Karastan.  Cody was a true pleasure to work with.

Working in the IT systems area, I was frequently supporting his department and those often challenging processes his department was responsible for managing.  His leadership always helped to make my efforts working on projects for his department a success and be more effective, this was because of his sound understanding of the business and how his department impacted the success of the Karastan business, as a whole.  Cody was a bright man and a good teacher, helping me as a young programmer/analyst to better understand the big picture and how the systems work I was doing for his department impacted the overall business.

Cody was one of the finest men I’ve known and his warm inviting smile will be missed by all who knew him.  He seemed to always have a positive outlook on things and after talking with him I would leave feeling lifted up.

Family, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I pray the Lord will give you peace and comfort during this most difficult time. May God also bless and strengthen you all in the days and weeks to come.
