Sherry Burchell Grogan, 63, passed away January 12, 2022 at her residence in Eden.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022 in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Pastor Terry L. Lawson, with burial at RoselawnCemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 19th from 5:00-7:00pm at Fair Funeral Home.
Sherry was born October 22, 1958 in RockinghamCounty to the late Jack Burchell and Betty Gauldin Burchell. She was a member of NewHeightsBaptistChurch. Sherry worked for the Rockingham County School System as a Bookkeeper.
Mrs. Grogan is survived by her cousins, Dan Arrington (Melissa) of Rockwell, NC, Phyllis Meyer of Pinehurst, NC, DeWayne Jeffries of Lake Martin, AL and Ken Jeffries of Jacksonville, FL.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen W. Grogan; daughter Ashley Nicole Grogan; Charlotte Rhodes.

Mrs. sherry was one of the most loving, sweetest women you would ever meet. I met her nine years ago when my daughter started south end . I so enjoyed knowing she would pick the phone up.
