Sandra Neal Williams, 76, of Ridgeway, Va, departed this earthly life and went to live forever with Jesus on Friday, January 14, 2022.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11am, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Danville, Va. A visitation is being held the half hour prior to the service.

Sandra was born on November 21, 1945 in Danville, Va. to the late Raymond Arnold Neal and Florence Kizee Neal.  She worked many years for Fieldcrest Mills and drove a school bus for Henry County Public Schools. She was a member of the Ridgeway Church of God. 

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Bobby Neal and Billy Neal, and her great-granddaughter Madalyn Renee Drane.

Sandra leaves behind her husband of 41 years, Joseph Williams Jr., and her sister, Patricia Howell of Bedford, Va.  She also leaves behind to cherish her memory, 2 daughters, Renee Oakes Hutchins and Kelly Jo Wood, both of Ridgeway, Va; four grandchildren, Matthew Drane of Weaverville, NC, Krystal Wood, Macala Hutchins, and Nate Hutchins; and lastly one great-grandchild, Korbin Van Tuttle.

Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her daughters and grandchildren were her life.  You always knew where you stood with Sandra. She was a hard worker and always put her family first.

She will be greatly missed.

I truly will miss you my precious friend. I loved you like a sister. You always been so kind and sweet to everyone. Even though my heart hurts I know you are with our Lord and no more pain, I'll see you again my sweet Sandra. 😢❤️

Sorry to hear of Sandra's passing.  We had so much fun  together the summers we visited Aunt Flora.  Enjoyed the time Sandra and Joe came and visited us in Baton Rouge.  Many many good memories. She will be missed.
