It was an honor and a pleasure to assist Mrs. Phobie during her time at Brookdale, Eden. The classiest and prettiest woman! I enjoyed my time with her, watering her plants, and teasing her about golf! My life was made better by having her in it. My deepest condolences to her family.

Phoebie was the quinessential Southern Lady. Her home was always warm and inviting, full of delicious food and great conversation. All the years I have known Phoebie, I never saw a wrinkle in her clothes or a hair out of place. She always put family first and steered through life with the most positive attitude ever. Boys, I know that you will miss her terribly, but know, hers was a life well lived. She enjoyed her life and influenced so many others. Rest in peace, you sweet soul.

We Ballengef nephews of Phoebie are saddened by her death and extend our deepest sympathy to her sons Joey, Tim, and Patrick, to their families and to her sister Betty.   While we grieve Phoebie's death, we feel gratitude for her good life, for the blessing she was to her family, her relatives, and to people of her varied communities.  Phoebie was a wonderful person to know through the years; it was a joy to be in her presence.  Distance, age, and circumstances will prevent our being present for the memorial service,  prevent our being able to offer personal words to Phoebie's sons.  However, we are one with you in mourning this parting and in being thankful for all she meant to you and to us.
With Love and Sympathy,

It was my honor to have had the chance to know and spend some time with Mrs. O'Leary and members of her family over several years. She was always very kind and most gracious when I was in her company. Her son John (Pat) and I attended college together and have been friends since that time. My deepest sympathies to Joey, Tim and John along with the other members of her family, but I know Mrs. O'Leary had a full and joyous life!
