Nadine Price Lawson, 95, of Ridgeway, VA, passed Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Martinsville Health and Rehab.
A funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, NC, with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 12-1pm, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.
Nadine was born April 4, 1927, in Henry County, VA, to the late Jesse Price and Hazel Dean Price. She worked at Bassett Walker for many years, until her retirement. Nadine attended Highland Baptist Church in Ridgeway. She loved her family and spending time with them and working on her yard.
Special thanks to the family members who donated time to take care of Nadine in the last couple years of her life, you will always be loved. Special thanks to Mountain Valley Hospice staff for the wonderful care and services you provided during the last month of her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Frank Lawson (Sarah) of Ridgeway; grandchildren, Mark Lawson (Lisa) of Fieldale, Haley Lawson of Ridgeway, Josh Lawson (Jessica) of Bassett, Amanda Hundley of Ridgeway; great-grandchildren, Michael Lawson, Darian Lawson, Zachary Lawson, Dexter Lawson, Zeke Lawson, Autumn Hundley, Alex Hundley; siblings, Ellie Harbour, Loretta Manuel, Abbie Young, Morris Price.
In addition to her parents, Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lawson; grandchild, Ramie Lawson; brothers, Arnold Price, Lawrence “Turk” Price, Billy Price, Jimmy Price, Brenton Price, Nolan Price; sisters, Ella May Rose Hawks, Vivian Fulcher, Betty Lou Adkins, Joan Wren Price.
