Copelin Renae Bates gained her angel wings on September 20, 2022. She was born at 4:25pm and met the eyes of Jesus on the same day.

A memorial service will be held 1pm, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. The family will accept friends at other times at their home, 328 Pervie Bolick St, Eden, NC, beginning Friday evening, September 23.

Copelin experienced hugs and kisses with her parents, Hanna and Cody Bates, and being told “I love you to the moon and back” a million times.

Copelin is truly cherished by her Mommy and Daddy; big sister, Bella Bates and big brother, Casyn Bates; as well as her grandparents Stephanie Hodges and Todd Barnes (Jennifer), and Amy Bowers (Chuck) and Chris Bates; numerous great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She was greeted at Heaven’s doors by her great-great grandparents, Kat Hodges, Patsy and Bobby Chambers. Several others were waiting right with them.

The family would like to send a special thank-you to Dr. Nitsche, all of the NICU nurses, and the “Now I lay me down to sleep” Foundation at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
