Jeffrey L. Land, age 80, of Eden, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Brookdale in Eden.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, 11 am at LandFamilyCemetery with Pastor Joe Seay, officiating.
Mr. Land was born October 4, 1942 in RockinghamCounty to the late Alvie Herman and Emaline (Griggs) Land. He was a member of SprayBaptistChurch and was a barber for forty years, having worked in different places. He enjoyed painting and singing.
He is survived by his sisters, Carole Land Thompson of Eden and Ann Mitchell of Eden; one brother, Keith (Mary) Land of Eden.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Sammy Land.
Jeff I will miss your humor and kind heart. I was fortunate to have known you and my life is richer for it. You had a tender heart and now May you rest in peace with your Lord forever with no more pain.

I met Jeff at Brookdale several years ago. He had this ability to tease and I always looked forward to see him. Jeff was always sitting near the office and was the first person I saw when visiting . He loved my pound cakes and wanted one of his own that he did not have to share. Jeff was loved by so many and I am so happy to gave known and loved him. I will always think of him when I am baking. Thinking of his family at this time.
