Much love and prayers for you all during the Homegoing of sweet Dewey! hallelujah he is healed and in awe of Our savior!
loved Dewey! He was a blessing and such a faithful servant! May you all find comfort in knowing he is celebrating now pain free!
So sorry to hear of Brother Dewey's passing. He was a true and honest man that walked that walk for Jesus. He lived and breathed it. You could see the love in his eyes and the glow on his face when he talked about our Lord Jesus. The first scripture he told me was Romans 10:11. I say it all the time when I get stressed. I enjoyed our conversations about Jesus. I loved his classes, which I took many and the Greek class too! My favorite memory of Brother Dewey is when Sandra Chaney and I would sit with him and talk about life and he would always have a scripture for us. He gave me one of his books "Life Encounters", Poems by Dewey Griffith. I will always cherish it. I read it a lot. He was a sweet and gentle godly man. I told him I adopted him as my Papa, because he reminded me of him. I put him on the same pedestal as my Papa! He will be missed. Praying for you and your family. If you need anything at all. Just let us know. Sending Love and hugs to each and everyone. ❤️ So honored to have got to visit him yesterday. You are blessed to have such a great Dad. I'm happy that you have such great memories ❤️ May God comfort you in this time of great Sorrow.
My Condolences to the family of Pastorn Dewey, may he rest in peace after a long ministry to our Savior.
I am so saddened by Dewey's passing, but realize he is in a much better place than we are. I enjoyed his classes that I used to attend. He was a very knowledgeable man. He will be sorely missed. Prayers for the family.

We grieve at the passing from earth of Pastor Dewey but rejoice that he is now with his Savior that he never hesitated to share.
I'm grateful for Dewey's relationship with Jesus, and the humble, obedient way he walked that relationship out. He shared time with a young man and it made a lasting impression and improvement in me. I rejoice to know that he's worshipping in the presence of his Lord!
So sorry to about the passing of Pastor Dewey. One of the kindest and devoted men I have ever know. I am sure he was greeted by Jesus with "Well done my true and faithful servant".I will always remember him and the conversations we had.
I was honored to know Pastor Dewey. He was one of the godliest Bible loving men that I have ever known. He taught me how important it was to learn the genology of Jesus. My favorite service that he preached was Ecclesiastes 12. That was his testimony that I will never forget! It talks about growing older and things don't matter as much as we get older. In the end we return to our maker in heaven! Forever young pastor Dewey! You are now rejoicing with those who have gone on before us. I'll be seeing you again soon!
Pastor Dewey was one of a kind. He was smart, witty and generous. There are many 'Dewey-isms' that I will learn from forever
It is an honor and privilege to have many wonderful memories of Pastor Dewey to cherish for my remaking years. He left a wonderful legacy as a result of his faithful love for Jesus and family. George Fisher

Pastor Steve and entire Griffith family:
We know Pastor Dewey is going to be missed tremendously by you and everyone who knew him. He was so easy to love.
He made a huge impact on our family and we are forever grateful. He was so kind to Tommy's Dad when he was sick and officiated Mr. Davis' funeral.
There were several pastors who came to see Mr. Davis but Pastor Dewey was the one he connected with and always asked to see. Mr. Davis's words: "Pastor Dewey is for real; nothing fake about him and he will be the only one preaching my funeral!" How true that is! Pastor Dewey was the real deal and we are so thankful to have known him and thankful for the things he taught us. Our faith grew in a lot of ways because of Pastor Dewey. We were so blessed to know him and call him our friend.
What a huge gain for heaven and what a blessing to know he is with his Savior and in the best hands possible.
We love all of you and are praying for your comfort in the days ahead.
