Addison “Addy” Faith Anderson, 12, of Eden, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023, at UNC Health Care in Chapel Hill, NC.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 4 - 6pm at Fair Funeral Home.
Addy was born December 29, 2010, in Greensboro, NC, to Billy Gene Anderson, II, and Shawna Richardson Anderson. She loved God and being a witness to others and letting her light shine. Addy was a member of True Hope Church. She enjoyed swimming, roller blading, singing, and playing her guitar. She enjoyed camping, going to the beach and the mountains. Her three little sisters were her best friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Billy and Shawna Anderson; sisters, Emalyn, Cheyenne, Sadie; maternal grandparents, Phyllis and Billy Raines, Jerry Richardson; paternal grandparents, Kimberly Anderson, Stephen Anderson; great grandparent, Jerry and Henrietta Sparks; aunts and uncles, Stevie and Doug Zola, Holly and James Kennedy, Kristie and Randy Whaley, Joshua Worley; cousins, Landon Worley (Big Brother), Elaina Whaley, James Kennedy, III, Clay Worley, numerous cousins; special aunt, Kaitlyn Edwards; numerous great-aunts and great-uncles; her beloved dog, Gizmo.
Addy is preceded in death by her aunt, Crystal Worley; great-grandparents, Billy and Carolyn D. Anderson, “Nannie” Carolyn T. Anderson, Elaine and Clayton Cox, Jack and Ellen Richardson, Alma Beatty, Helen Sparks.
