William Lawrence Donnell, 67, of Eden, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023, at UNC Rockingham Health Care.
Per William’s request, no services will be held at this time. The family will receive friends at the home of Ruth Fain, 367 Fisher Hill Rd, Eden, NC, on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 5pm to 7pm.

William was born June 12, 1955, in Staten Island, New York, to the late Lawrence Alexander and Florence Alling Donnell. He enjoyed fishing and camping. William never met a stranger. He bought and distributed Bibles to friends and strangers alike. He loved his pets dearly.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 47 years, Catherine Fain Donnell; sisters, Ruth Donnell Pfeister (Kenneth) of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Laurence Evelyn D. Henry (Frank) of Orlando, FL; mother-in-law, Ruth Fain of Eden, NC; sister-in-law, Beverly Spence (Larry) of Eden, NC; numerous nieces and nephews.
