Linberg “Charles” Meeks, 94 years old, of Eden, NC retired owner of LC Electric and US Army Veteran went to be with the Lord at the Brian Center of Yanceyville on January 30, 2023.
A funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, February 3, 2023, at Overlook Mausoleum in Eden with entombment to follow. Mr. Meeks will lie-in-repose Friday, February 3, 2023, from 9am-Noon at Fair Funeral Home.
Charles, as most people knew him, was the kindest, most gentle, and most loving man you could've ever met. Anyone who knew him would tell you how much he loved his wife Frances and talked about her so much. He was so proud of her and adored everything about her.
Charles was a member of the Leaksville Masonic Lodge number 136, AF and AM.
Mr. Meeks is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Wine Meeks; mother, Lelia Meeks; father, Numa Meeks; brothers, Len Meeks, Roger Meeks, Cornelia Meeks, Donald Meeks, Marion Meeks, Raymond Meeks, and Gary Meeks; sisters, Nellie Meeks Strader, Gloria Meeks Bray, and Martha Meeks Foster.
Charles and his beloved wife Frances did not have any children to carry on their legacy but left an imprint on many lives of those who will carry on their memory forever.

Sending prayers..... I remember growing up listening to Charles sing with my mom (gwyn) and granny walker(Dorothy)....such great memories at Guerrant Springs Church.....He could play the guitar so good as well as sing.
