Dear David,
I was surprised and saddened to hear of your passing.  You were one of my best friends when we were growing up (in the Sandy Ridge community) and lived about ½ mile from one another.  You got your driver’s license a year or two before me, and it was so good of you to  ‘haul me around’ with you.  That meant a lot to a young fellow just starting out in life.

Although we both gravitated to Eden, I rarely saw you.  But whenever I did, you’d still have that good 'old country boy grin’ that I knew and loved. I’m sorry I can’t attend your funeral services due to a family illness.  However, I want you to know I’m thinking and praying for you and your loved ones.

RIP old buddy and I hope to see you on the other side.

To Phyllis and Family,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.  May your love and memories of David bring you peace and help carry you through your grief.
