Jimmy Daniel Rieson, 62, of Ridgeway passed away March 4, 2023, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
A gathering of friends will be held from 1-3pm Saturday, March 25th, 2023, at Northside Baptist Church in Eden.
Jimmy was born September 17, 1960, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Garvin Franklin Rieson and Elizabeth Pratt Rieson. He worked as a painter for many years. Jimmy enjoyed floating down the river and spending time with his grandkids.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Frances Craddock Rieson of the home; daughter, Latasha Emerson of Patrick County, VA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Berrier, Sean Berrier, Tyler Helton, Brianna Helton, Jorie Raczkiewicz; sisters, Cissy Pinkleton (Mike), Donna Strickland.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Angela Berrier; sister, Marie Smithers; paternal grandmother, Susie Rieson.
