Kevin Leigh Heath, 67, of Eden, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at this residence with his family surrounding him.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 20th at 10:00am in the Heath Family Cemetery, 201 Valley Trail, Eden, NC.

Kevin was born December 1, 1955, in Frankfort, Germany, to the late Harold Hamilton Heath and Virginia Anne Reaves Heath. He served his country in the United States Air Force and he owned and operated All Ways Trucking Co.  Kevin was a member of two churches, First Presbyterian of Eden and First Baptist Church of Eden.

He is survived by his wife, Ernestine (Harvey) Gustin; daughter, Sherrie (Michael) Adee of Holly Springs, PA, step-son Charles Harvey of Jacksonville, FL; two step-grandsons, Aaron and Ethan Harvey of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Mark Heath of Baltimore, MD; two nieces, Megan Cooper and Kate Heath of Baltimore, MD; a nephew, Tyler Heath of Baltimore, MD

He was preceded in death by both parents.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Salvation Army 314 Morgan Road, Eden, NC 27288 or the Food Bank-Second Harvest, 2517 Phillips Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405

I have known Kevin since High School ,we have always stayed in touch and he let me know in our last conversation he was ready and his main concern was for his wife . He told me some of the family was coming up which he was very gratefull to have them there for Ernie .Thinking of the love of his life always !

The family moving up there gave him great comfort  for his wife not to be alone . Kevin was ready ! Kevin is at peace now !

He will always be missed and  live on forever in our hearts

So sorry to hear of Keith's passing. He was a great guy with a good heart. Our paths did not cross nearly enough, but when they did, it was quality time. Ernie was a wonderful gift to his life. I will miss him send my condolences to the family and hope they will surrounded by and peace in this fragile time. Special regards to his brother, Mark, and remembrance of our time growing up together.
